The Warli discovery continues ! This week we tried to get more information on the technique of this painting – How does one paint, with what and where?
After having seen some pictures, the children realised that this painting originates in India (in Maharshtra actually) and that it is painted with small branches. The paint is quite extraordinary too. Its rice powder! How cool ! J:)
We finished the week with an illustration in their books – My friends and Me.
We have also our journey towards reading – an adventure that we would have together – the discovery of vowels with Claude Ponti! Curious? The children can talk about the adventures of Tromboline and Foulbazar with the sound ‘’A’’
