This week we started discovering a particularly regional painting style – Warli Painting.
The children tried to understand the theme of these painting, of they spoke, where they were and finally decided that they spoke about a life in a village. They noticed the style that the characters were drawn – two triangles and 1 circle – and that the women wore their hair up.
They also noticed that the people in the painting sing, dance, play music, work, etc.. and the animals! SO many animals! – chicken, cows, horses, peacocks, etc.. and so many beautiful trees!
As for Maths and Language skills, we have started a small project on a Counting book! Maths is fun! :D
